Job Summary

As a PLC Specialist at Hilger & Kern Group in Mannheim, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of control systems for custom industrial machinery. Your daily activities will include programming PLC systems according to DIN IEC 61131-3 standards, conducting functional tests, and performing machine commissioning and acceptance alongside customers. You will also handle the parameterization of intelligent actuators, sensors, and electronic subsystems while creating comprehensive technical documentation. Beyond development, you will provide remote and occasional on-site support for software adjustments and troubleshooting. This role is ideal for a solution-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of complex programming and hands-on machine interaction.
