Job Summary

As a PLC Specialist at Hilger & Kern Group in Mannheim, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of machine control systems within the special purpose machinery sector. Your day-to-day activities involve PLC programming according to DIN IEC 61131-3, functional testing, and commissioning machines alongside customers. You will parameterize intelligent actuators, sensors, and electronic subsystems while creating comprehensive functional descriptions and documentation. Beyond development, you will provide remote and occasional on-site support for software adjustments and troubleshooting.
