Job Summary

As a Process Engineer in Electronics Manufacturing, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing production processes to improve quality, costs, and throughput times. Your day-to-day activities involve managing investment projects for hardware and software, overseeing specific processes like PCB printing, panel routing, and press-fit procedures, and handling troubleshooting and series production support. You will play a critical role in quality control, specifically regarding solder paste escalation management, and define development rules for new products to ensure they reach series maturity. This position is highly collaborative, requiring coordination with software manufacturers and cross-functional teams to perform Design Rule Checks. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of technical process documentation and hands-on production support within a forward-thinking engineering services environment that offers flexible working hours and mobile work options.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in electronics manufacturing or industrial production
  • Proven experience in the production processes of electronic assemblies
  • Experience in leading investment projects (HW/SW) considering technological and economic aspects
  • Professional experience in process analysis and technical documentation
  • Experience in quality and escalation management within a manufacturing context
