Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of public administration through the '4transfer' project at the Meißen University of Applied Sciences and Training Center (HSF). As a Research Associate, you will work within an agile team of three to bridge the gap between science, government, industry, and society. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing consulting services, managing 'Living Labs' (Reallabore), and facilitating participatory formats for administrative staff and social actors. You will act as a mediator and change manager, driving innovation and digital transformation within the Saxon state administration. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree, University Diploma, or equivalent from a University or Technical University; or a Master's degree from a University of Applied Sciences in Administration, Law, Economics, Information Technology, or a technical field; or a Second State Examination in Law (Volljurist).

Experience

  • Professional experience in scientific research, ideally related to administrative action or knowledge transfer
  • Experience in organizing workshops and managing projects
  • Experience in concept development, data collection, analysis, and evaluation
  • Practical knowledge of agile methods and modern IT systems

  • Willingness to travel regionally within Saxony is required. Applicants must be comfortable working in an agile team environment. The position is fixed-term until December 31, 2027, and follows the TV-L E13 salary scale.
