Job Summary

As a Wafer Logistics Specialist at the Fraunhofer Institute for Photonic Microsystems (IPMS), you will be responsible for the seamless coordination of semiconductor material flow within a state-of-the-art 300 mm cleanroom environment. Your daily activities include processing wafer orders via Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), managing wafer splitting and merging, and overseeing contamination control protocols. You will also handle incoming and outgoing goods inspections and container (FOUP) management. This role is highly specialized, requiring approximately 90% of your working time to be spent in a cleanroom. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training, ideally in a technical field; additional further education in the semiconductor industry is a plus.

Experience

  • Professional experience in equipment control and monitoring
  • Basic knowledge of contamination management

Additional
