Job Summary

This role offers the opportunity to join the Fraunhofer Institute for High-Speed Dynamics (EMI) in Freiburg, a prestigious research institution focused on security, aerospace, and automotive resilience. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for administrative, technical, and scientific staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the institute's IT infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and peripherals, procuring and installing PC software and hardware components, and maintaining detailed documentation. You will work within a motivated six-person team in a modern data center environment. This position is particularly attractive due to its high degree of flexibility, offering up to 50% remote work, flexible hours, and a comprehensive benefits package including public service pension schemes and childcare support.
