Job Summary
In this role at FERCHAU Rosenheim, you will be responsible for streamlining IT operations through the creation, adaptation, and documentation of automation scripts using Bash and PowerShell. Your daily activities will involve automating software distribution and update processes, alongside the configuration and rollout of mobile data entry (MDE) devices and handheld scanners. Beyond automation, you will provide essential 1st and 2nd-level support for Windows clients and peripheral hardware like label printers, managing tickets within the ServiceNow system. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience or training in PowerShell and Bash scripting from internships, education, or personal projects
- Experience in 1st and 2nd level technical support for Windows clients and peripheral devices
- Practical experience with hardware commissioning, specifically handheld scanners and MDE devices
- Experience working with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow
