Job Summary

This full-time research position at the Institute of Medical Technology involves conducting theoretical and experimental research in the electromagnetic analysis of complex electronic systems. The successful candidate will focus on developing modal synthesis methods to create physical network models for electrical interconnect structures. Day-to-day responsibilities include numerical discretization of electromagnetic field equations, implementing numerical methods based on finite elements, and performing system simulations to analyze electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). A unique aspect of this role is the explicit support and encouragement to pursue a doctoral degree (PhD) within the three-year contract duration. Candidates will join a vibrant university environment with 13,000 students and 3,000 employees, benefiting from structured personal development and a focus on sustainability and diversity. The position is ideal for an aspiring academic looking to bridge the gap between theoretical field theory and practical electronic system simulation.
