Job Summary
This role involves the independent management and organization of civil engineering and pipeline construction projects, covering everything from trenching and pipe laying to surface restoration. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating on-site teams and external subcontractors while ensuring strict adherence to deadlines, quality standards, costs, and safety regulations. Your daily tasks include creating site reports, measurements, and performance records, as well as serving as the primary point of contact for clients, planning offices, and authorities. This position is ideal for a professional with strong leadership skills and technical expertise in civil engineering who enjoys a mix of field coordination and administrative project oversight. The role offers a permanent contract and the opportunity to lead critical infrastructure projects in the energy and telecommunications sectors.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or a degree in Civil Engineering, Road Construction, Pipeline Construction, Traffic Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in civil engineering
- Proven experience in a leadership or management function within the construction industry
- Experience working with VOB regulations and bills of quantities (Leistungsverzeichnisse)
- Professional experience in coordinating construction columns and external subcontractors
