Job Summary

As an Electrical Service Technician specializing in protection technology at Schneider Electric, you will ensure the seamless operation of critical power systems ranging from low to high voltage. Based in Dresden, your day-to-day responsibilities involve performing protection and repeat tests on medium-voltage systems, conducting functional tests, and parameterizing protection relays and automation systems. You will be a key point of contact for industrial and energy utility customers, diagnosing faults and implementing sustainable technical solutions. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or Automation Technology.

Experience

  • Professional experience in medium-voltage protection technology, ideally with Schneider Electric, MiCOM, Siemens, or ABB systems
  • Proven experience in the testing, parameterization, and commissioning of protection relays
  • Experience in the safe operation and maintenance of electrical power systems
  • Experience or willingness to work in offshore environments, including relevant safety certifications
