Job Summary
As the Team Lead for Pre-analytics and Post-analytics at one of Europe's most modern laboratory sites in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, you will take on a pivotal leadership role overseeing a dedicated team of approximately 25 employees. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve ensuring the seamless receipt, registration, and preparation of medical samples in strict accordance with ISO 15189 standards. You will act as a central interface within the lab, optimizing workflows, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and managing quality assurance metrics. This position is particularly attractive for those seeking to work in a highly automated environment with flat hierarchies and a culture of open communication. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the human medical field (e.g., Medical Assistant (MFA), Medical Laboratory Technician (MTLA), or Biological Technical Assistant (BTA)) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in pre-analytics
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Experience working in a regulated environment, specifically with quality management standards such as ISO 15189
- Experience in organizing and managing a team of approximately 25 employees
