Job Summary

As a High Voltage Systems Technician for Hamburger Energienetze, you will play a critical role in securing Hamburg's energy supply by planning, coordinating, and implementing complex project measures within the primary technology sector. Your daily responsibilities include coordinating technical requirements across planning and execution departments, managing external service providers from commissioning to final acceptance, and participating in on-call shifts as an operational lead. You will develop technically and economically viable concepts for new construction and renovation projects, perform detailed fault and damage analyses based on maintenance findings, and draft internal guidelines in compliance with DIN VDE and DGUV standards. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of technical conceptualization, on-site coordination, and regulatory compliance. Required Skills

Education

Completed further training as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician (Techniker) specializing in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience and sound practical knowledge in high voltage systems or electrical engineering
  • Proven experience in planning and implementing project measures within energy distribution networks
  • Experience in coordinating external service providers and technical departments
  • Professional experience in developing technical concepts and performing damage analyses
  • Experience in applying relevant safety regulations and technical norms (DIN VDE, DGUV)
