Job Summary

This role involves the design, detailing, and analysis of construction variants for new, renovated, and expanded supply facilities within Hamburg's high-voltage network. Working for Hamburger Energienetze, you will be responsible for creating technical execution documents using CAD and Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies. A significant portion of the day-to-day work includes managing information quality within BIM projects, overseeing data management throughout the plant lifecycle, and developing standardized plant engineering designs. This position is particularly attractive as it offers a permanent contract in a future-proof energy sector, following the merger of Hamburg's electricity and gas networks. You will collaborate closely with internal and external partners, ensuring high-quality technical standards while contributing to the energy transition of a major metropolitan area.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a comparable discipline.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of high-voltage systems or substations is preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in 3D modeling using Revit
  • Experience working with Project Common Data Environments (CDE), specifically Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Experience in creating technical construction and primary engineering documentation
  • Proven ability in cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
