Job Summary
This role within the Brandenburg State Police Central Service focuses on the realization, testing, and operational handover of IT systems and critical infrastructure. As an IT Project Implementation Specialist, you will conduct feasibility studies, define requirements, and provide technical advice for the introduction of new IT procedures. A significant portion of the role involves ensuring data protection and information security compliance, acting as a bridge between IT projects and security teams. You will manage test concepts, perform situation analyses, and oversee the transition of systems into active operation. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of project management office (PMO) tasks and technical oversight. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Computer Science; OR completed IT vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration/Application Development); OR qualification for the higher technical service as a Computer Scientist.
Experience
- Professional experience in information technology
- 3+ years of relevant IT experience if applying with vocational training
- 6+ years of relevant IT experience if applying as a career changer (lateral entry)
- Experience in IT project work and project management office (PMO) tasks
- Proven knowledge in data protection, information security, and IT-Grundschutz
- Experience in conceptual planning and execution of IT test procedures

- Must possess a valid Class B driver's license. Position requires undergoing an extended security clearance (Ü2). Location: Zossen/Wünsdorf or Potsdam.
