Job Summary

This role involves the administration and management of critical information technology systems for the Brandenburg State Police, specifically focusing on emergency response and situational awareness centers. You will be responsible for the technical and organizational maintenance of the emergency dispatch system and IP telephony, ensuring high service quality through proactive planning of new acquisitions and system optimizations. Day-to-day tasks include managing relational database management systems, application servers, and multi-tier client-server applications. You will also develop new IT services, maintain procedural directories, and negotiate Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This position is unique as it supports essential public safety infrastructure, including the '110' emergency call system. The role offers a collaborative team environment with high levels of personal responsibility, flexible working hours (6:00 AM – 9:00 PM), home office options, and the stability of a permanent public service contract (TV-L E 10 / A 11).
