Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Engineering Master or Technician to join Schleswig-Holstein Netz GmbH, a key player in Northern Germany's energy transition. The Project Manager will be instrumental in planning, building, and operating electricity and gas grids, focusing specifically on grid protection. Day-to-day tasks involve leading new construction and conversion projects for grid protection systems, implementing replacement projects for older technologies, and performing parametrization, communication tests, and programming for control and protection technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, practical experience in protection technology, and a proactive approach to project management, including commercial processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the energy transition within a large, stable company, working with internal and external service providers and participating in on-call duty.

Required Skills

Education

Technical vocational training in Electrical Engineering, with a Master Electrician or Technician certification (or comparable qualification) either obtained or in progress.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering
  • Several years of practical experience in electrical engineering activities
  • Experience, references, and further training in protection technology (ideally)
  • Professional experience with common data processing (DV) systems
