Job Summary

As an Information Manager, you will be responsible for the comprehensive control, filing, and maintenance of project documentation and information through a central database. Your daily activities will involve creating documentation status lists, generating reference lists, and delivering data packages for critical project milestones to both customers and subcontractors. You will play a vital role in monitoring document statuses, managing approval procedures, and ensuring data integrity in compliance with legal requirements. Beyond documentation, you will support project management, configuration management, and product assurance to ensure reproducible development processes. A key highlight of this role is the opportunity to support the introduction of PDM/PLM systems and establish information management processes within the project. This position is ideal for a structured professional who enjoys collaborating across departments, training staff on information systems, and ensuring efficient data accessibility. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Engineering, Information Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in documentation and information management methods throughout the product lifecycle
  • Experience with documentation management tools and the implementation of PDM/PLM systems
  • General project experience, specifically in managing relationships with customers and subcontractors
  • Proven experience in data analysis and the management of information systems
  • Experience in training employees on information systems and tools
