Job Summary
As a Metering Technician in Berlin, you will play a vital role in modernizing the city's power grid by ensuring the precision and quality of measurement technology. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve inspecting reclaimed electricity meters and communication devices, conducting technical testing using ZERA test stations, and managing reclamation processes within SAP. You will monitor quality metrics using Power BI and collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve complex technical issues. This role is ideal for those who enjoy a mix of hands-on technical inspection and data-driven quality management. The position is highly attractive due to its 37-hour work week, flexible working models, and a secure salary range of €51,000 to €62,000. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in electrical engineering plus further qualification as a State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) or equivalent; alternatively, a willingness to complete this qualification while working.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in quality assurance or reclamation processing
- Experience in handling device management systems (e.g., SAP)
- Professional experience in the energy industry, specifically in metering, is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in technical communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders
