Job Summary
This role involves the technical management and further development of the '@rtus' case management system for the Saarland State Police. As a key member of the IT division, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the application, from conducting feasibility studies and coordinating system changes to overseeing commissioning and incident management. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring application performance, creating technical documentation, and providing expert advice to various departments. You will also play a vital role in IT projects, contributing to requirements specifications and overall system concepts. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a completed vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) with several years of professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in the operation of applications within Linux and Microsoft-based server environments
- Several years of professional experience required if applying with a vocational qualification (e.g., IT Specialist)
- Experience with database management from an application perspective (Oracle/SQL)
- Experience with software distribution and monitoring tools
- Experience in project work or staff-level coordination is preferred
- Experience in incident management and troubleshooting
Languages
Additional
- Must be willing to undergo an extended security clearance (Ü2) in accordance with the Saarland Security Check Act. Willingness to participate in continuous training and qualification programs, including those located outside of Saarland. Valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
