Job Summary
The University Hospital Würzburg is seeking a Medical Administrative Assistant to join the Center for Rare Diseases (ZESE) in a part-time capacity (30%-40%). In this pivotal role, you will act as a non-medical navigator, serving as the first point of contact for patients through the ZESE portal and telephone consultations. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing patient appointments, maintaining digital records in the Hospital Information System, and preparing medical reports from dictation. You will also play a key role in organizing virtual and in-person case conferences and handling general office management tasks such as material procurement and student inquiries. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a medical or commercial field (e.g., Medical Assistant, Healthcare Management Clerk, or Office Management Clerk).
Experience
- Completed vocational training as a Medical Assistant (MFA), Healthcare Clerk, or Office Management Assistant
- Professional experience in administration or secretarial services is preferred
- Experience in managing patient inquiries and coordinating medical appointments
- Proven ability to work independently with a structured and responsible approach
