This role involves supporting the operation and monitoring of the digital radio network for public safety organizations (BOS) in Lower Saxony. Working within a 24/7 control center environment, the successful candidate will coordinate with central network operators and emergency service command centers to ensure seamless communication. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing radio subscribers, monitoring base stations and microwave links for transmission quality, and handling incident management during operational disruptions. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician (specializing in Radio Technology), Radio Technician, Systems Electronics Technician, Communication Electronics Technician, or IT Specialist for System Integration (or equivalent).

Experience

  • Professional experience in electronics, radio technology, or systems integration
  • Experience in technical monitoring of transmission paths and peripheral equipment
  • Experience coordinating with emergency service organizations (BOS) such as police or fire departments is preferred
  • Experience working in a shift or on-call environment
  • Experience in incident response and operational troubleshooting

Additional
