Job Summary

As a PLC Programmer at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of automated systems, focusing on programming PLC controllers and designing HMI/SCADA solutions for visualization. Your day-to-day work involves commissioning and documenting control systems, specifically project planning for control and regulation loops within hydraulic supply systems. You will also play a critical role in ensuring the availability of production and testing equipment while supporting the creation of electrical schematics using tools like EPLAN. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable technical vocational training/further education qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the project planning and commissioning of automation systems
  • Extensive experience in PLC programming
  • Practical experience in test bench technology, specifically hydraulics and fluid dynamics
  • Experience in troubleshooting and release management processes

Additional

  • The role requires German language skills at level B2 or higher as it is the primary working language for the project. Candidates must be able to work on-site or within the project's location constraints as part of a collaborative team.
