Job Summary

Join the Supervision and Service Directorate (ADD) in Koblenz or Neustadt an der Weinstraße as an Anti-Money Laundering Officer. This role involves preventing money laundering by educating approximately 8,500 companies in the non-financial sector (including financial services, trusts, gambling, insurance brokers, real estate agents, and goods dealers) on their obligations under the Money Laundering Act. You will then be responsible for controlling and enforcing compliance with these regulations, which includes conducting on-site inspections. Required Skills

Education

For civil servants: Qualification for the second entry-level position (formerly middle service) in administration and finance (Administrator or Financial Administrator) in municipal, state, or federal administration. For employees: Angestelltenprüfung I, completed vocational training as an Administrative Assistant, Tax Assistant, Tax Specialist, or other comparable training in the commercial sector, banking, or a law firm (e.g., Paralegal).

Experience

  • Professional experience in administration and finance (for civil servants: second entry-level examination for administration and finance)
  • Professional experience as an administrative assistant, tax assistant, tax specialist, or comparable commercial, banking, or legal background (e.g., paralegal)
  • Willingness to conduct regular full-day field service within Rhineland-Palatinate, primarily in the Koblenz and Neustadt an der Weinstraße areas
  • Interest in operational contexts or willingness to undergo further training
  • Willingness to participate in specialized training at the Trier location
