Job Summary
As the Head of Quality Management, you will be responsible for maintaining and advancing the quality management system of a GMP-accredited contract laboratory. Your daily activities will involve overseeing ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, managing audits, and ensuring process stability and transparency. You will lead the complaint and deviation management processes, identifying risks early and implementing corrective actions for process optimization. A significant portion of the role involves leadership, where you will manage the QM department, delegate tasks, and develop staff according to clear principles. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who can bridge the gap between regulatory requirements and practical laboratory solutions. The role offers a high level of autonomy, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to contribute directly to consumer protection within a dynamic, internationally connected laboratory group.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in natural sciences or engineering, or a specialized vocational training with several years of professional experience in quality management.
Experience
- Professional experience in quality management, preferably within a contract laboratory environment
- Leadership experience with a track record of developing and motivating employees
- Experience in managing audits and interacting with regulatory authorities
- Proven experience in handling complex organizational tasks and structured problem-solving
