Job Summary

As an IT Service Coordinator for the clinic group of the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund, you will serve as the central back-office interface between on-site IT staff at 27 rehabilitation clinics and the central administration. Your daily responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for complex IT process queries, coordinating team activities, and managing knowledge transfer through the creation of concepts and training materials. You will be responsible for onboarding new on-site IT staff and ensuring a smooth flow of information between technical domains and specialist departments. This role is unique for its blend of technical coordination and administrative management within a large-scale public health infrastructure. You will play a vital role in the ongoing digitalization of clinical information systems (KIS) across Germany, making this an attractive position for those who enjoy process optimization and cross-functional communication in a secure, public-sector environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in IT, Administration, or Economics; or completed vocational training in these fields with equivalent long-term practical IT experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT, administration, or economics within a public administration or clinical setting
  • Extensive experience with public sector processes such as budgeting, personnel planning, and procurement
  • Practical experience in technical IT support or IT service management is highly desirable
  • Experience in creating technical concepts, instructions, or training materials
  • Experience in coordinating team tasks and organizational workflows
