Job Summary

This role involves serving as a central advisor within the Corporate Security department of DRV Bund, focusing on Information Security Management (ISM). You will be responsible for advising department heads and project leads on the creation and updating of IT security concepts based on BSI IT-Grundschutz standards. Day-to-day activities include integrating security concepts into management systems, developing organization-wide guidelines, and collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team of security experts. The position is highly collaborative, requiring you to translate complex technical security requirements into actionable advice for various stakeholders. This is a permanent position offering a stable public service contract (TV EntgO-DRV) with a salary up to approximately €86,000. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor, Diploma, or equivalent) in IT or a STEM field; alternatively, completed vocational IT training or comparable IT qualification combined with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the IT sector, with the specific duration depending on the level of educational qualification.
  • Initial professional experience specifically in information security and IT security.
  • Practical experience in project management.
  • Proven experience working with BSI IT-Grundschutz standards (e.g., IT-Grundschutz Practitioner).
  • Practical experience using ISMS tools such as HiScout or verinice.
