As a Senior IT Digital Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and operating a group-wide private cloud platform for major German energy network operators. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve ensuring the seamless operation of data services, integrating new applications onto Kubernetes platforms, and advancing software components for data exchange. You will act as a key technical liaison, managing external service providers and presenting complex concepts to diverse stakeholders across the E.ON group. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who excels at handling user requirements and CI/CD pipelines within a DevOps framework. Required Skills

Education

University or College degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a DevOps role within data engineering or database environments
  • Extensive experience in database administration and operations for PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle
  • Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines and deploying containers on Kubernetes platforms
  • Extensive experience in software development using Python
  • Demonstrated experience in managing external service providers and handling user requirements
  • Experience implementing security and compliance policies for cloud or on-premise critical infrastructure
