Job Summary

This role acts as a central point of contact for decentralized organizational units within the City of Offenbach, overseeing financial planning and budget execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing investment measures, product accounts, and ensuring business transactions are recorded accurately. You will support various departments using the 'H+H proDoppik' financial software, conduct internal audits of financial proposals, and draft official statements for the city magistrate. The position is unique for its blend of public administration and financial management, offering a high degree of autonomy in shaping digital processes. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in municipal economic law and budget implementation
  • Experience in intra-year financial controlling is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in public administration or financial management
  • Experience in handling financial software and IT-driven administrative processes
