Job Summary
This role involves overseeing and managing the electrical systems within a diverse portfolio of public buildings, including schools, sports halls, kindergartens, and fire stations. The Electrical Engineering Technician will be responsible for addressing fault reports on complex building systems, independently planning and estimating costs for necessary maintenance, and ensuring the proper operation of electrical installations, fire alarm systems, and elevators. A key part of the role includes supervising external contractors, conducting inspections, and managing billing and defect claims. This position offers a chance to contribute to the technical maintenance and expansion of essential public infrastructure, working with various user groups and ensuring the safety and functionality of critical electrical systems.
Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician or Master in Electrical Engineering
Experience
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the last three years
- Professional experience with electrical systems (e.g., lightning protection, alarm systems, fire alarm systems, voice evacuation systems, elevators, fire protection systems)
- Experience in or dealing with local authorities (advantageous)
