Job Summary

As an ICT Risk Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and monitoring ICT risks across the entire value chain within a major German insurance and financial services provider. Your day-to-day activities involve designing and refining the ICT risk management framework to comply with regulatory requirements, specifically the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). You will act as a strategic advisor to various departments, assisting with risk assessments and the evaluation of critical IT assets. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close interaction with IT, Information Security, Compliance, and Business Continuity Management (BCM) teams. The position offers a unique opportunity to shape structures within a growing CISO department during a period of digital transformation. Required Skills

Education

University degree or vocational training in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in information security, specifically in IT risk management and the development of ISMS and IKS
  • Practical experience in identifying, assessing, and monitoring ICT risks across the value chain
  • Foundational experience in BCM, third-party management, and incident management relative to DORA requirements
  • Experience in communicating complex technical issues to diverse target audiences
