Job Summary

As a Project Engineer for Electrical Engineering in the nuclear energy sector, you will be responsible for the technical execution of sub-projects related to specialized control systems for EPR technology. Your daily activities involve creating and refining technical proposals, tracking project progress, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. A significant part of the role includes conducting and supporting the commissioning of system components and test facilities for control element drives. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary project team to ensure seamless project workflows. This position is based in Erlangen and offers a unique opportunity to work with an international leader in nuclear energy. The role is initially via personnel leasing with a clear option for permanent takeover, offering a salary of approximately €63,000 per year depending on experience and a 35-hour work week.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Energy Technology, Automation Technology, Control Engineering, or a comparable engineering field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position such as Project Engineer, System Engineer, or Commissioning Engineer
  • Practical experience in project management and technical project execution
  • Experience working with machine safety and industrial safety standards
  • Experience in the commissioning of electrical or automation components
