Job Summary

This role involves managing the lifecycle and obsolescence of Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) components for a client in the defense and aerospace sector. Based in Heilbronn, the successful candidate will work 35 hours per week, handling the identification and resolution of obsolescence cases in close coordination with development, quality assurance, and procurement departments. Key responsibilities include establishing a systematic risk management process, monitoring component lifecycles using database tools, and defining mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will update delivery specifications and prepare detailed reports for management and customers. This position offers a competitive salary range of €65,000 - €75,000 per year, an initial temporary-to-permanent contract structure, and the possibility of hybrid work after the initial onboarding phase. It is an excellent opportunity for a technical professional to influence company-wide obsolescence management processes in a high-tech industry.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field; ideally with further qualification as a State-Certified Technician or a university degree.

Experience

  • Professional experience in obsolescence management or EEE component handling
  • Comprehensive knowledge of lifecycle management and relevant standards for the defense and aerospace industries
  • Experience using SAP, Polarion, and digital tools for part lifecycle management
  • Experience in risk management and defining technical countermeasures for component end-of-life scenarios
