Job Summary

As an Environmental Project Engineer at DB InfraGO AG, you will play a critical role in the modernization of Germany’s rail infrastructure, specifically focusing on the high-performance corridor between Wiesbaden, Mainz, and Koblenz. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve steering and coordinating all environmental planning, construction, and supervision services. You will act as the central point of contact for state authorities regarding nature conservation and environmental law, ensuring that all project permits for water, species, and habitat protection are strictly followed. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management to advise teams on environmental risks and sustainable solutions. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the planning and implementation of construction projects, specifically within environmental and nature conservation sectors
  • Proven experience in project management for large-scale infrastructure measures
  • Experience in water law and related regulatory requirements is preferred
  • Professional experience in coordinating with state authorities and environmental agencies
  • Experience in preparing environmental reports and technical contributions for species protection
