Job Summary
As an IT System Administrator for a long-standing German furniture manufacturer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and modernization of the local IT landscape in Gößnitz. Your day-to-day activities will involve maintaining the local network, managing Hyper-V infrastructure, and overseeing the Microsoft 365 environment, including Intune, Entra, and Exchange Online. You will also handle hardware inventory, patch management, and provide technical support to on-site employees during operating hours. This role is ideal for a solution-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership of technical processes, from onboarding new users to monitoring system health. The position offers the stability of a medium-sized company with over 30 years of history, combined with the dynamic environment of an internationally active firm that maintains flat hierarchies and 'Made in Germany' quality standards.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or a degree in Computer Science.
Experience
- Professional experience in system administration or a comparable technical role
- Experience in managing virtualized environments specifically with Hyper-V
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 cloud environments and administration tools
- Experience in technical support and troubleshooting within a corporate environment
- Proven ability to work independently and in a structured, solution-oriented manner

- The role is based at the Gößnitz/Nörditz location. Knowledge of Romanian or Russian is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
