Job Summary

As a Grid Support Center Engineer specializing in databases, you will join a dedicated 10-person team responsible for maintaining the IT landscape of a distribution network. Your primary mission involves acting as the first point of contact for internal users, managing and documenting disruptions, and resolving inquiries related to energy systems. A significant portion of the role focuses on the eCount application within Oracle database environments, requiring high responsibility during time-critical IT failures. You will conduct regular system trainings, coordinate with technical product teams, and develop automation scripts using PowerAutomate. This position is unique for its blend of high-stakes infrastructure support and modern flexibility, offering a 37-hour work week, 'workation' options across Europe, and a hybrid model that balances remote work with monthly team meetings. Required Skills

Education

Completed IT-related vocational training or a university degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Experience

Professional experience in IT support or database administration following a degree or vocational training
Deep technical experience in Oracle database environments including SQL and PL/SQL
Proven experience in handling 1st and 2nd level support requests
Experience in developing automation scripts for workflow optimization
Experience in the energy sector or with metering solutions (ideally Robotron eCount) is preferred

Additional
