Job Summary

As an Onsite IT Technician, you will be responsible for the end-to-end support of IT infrastructure at the client's location, specifically supporting the German Aerospace Center (DLR). Your daily activities will involve installing and configuring client hardware, performing rollouts, and conducting technical functional tests. You will act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting Windows client environments, managing service requests, and maintaining asset data and ticket documentation. Additionally, you will support network projects by installing or expanding network components and resolving hardware and software issues for peripherals like printers and scanners. This role is ideal for service-oriented professionals who enjoy hands-on technical work. The position offers an attractive environment within one of Europe's leading IT service providers, featuring a 40-hour work week, up to 30 days of vacation, and the provision of a pool vehicle for professional use.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronics Technician (IT Systemelektroniker), or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience with Windows client environments and hardware rollouts
  • Practical experience in troubleshooting and technical user support
  • Experience working with network components and server operating systems
  • Experience in Linux or Ubuntu environments is preferred
