Job Summary
This role involves the overall coordination and management of the School Cloud Network Software (SVS), a central pedagogical learning management system used across multiple German federal states. As an IT Project Manager at FWU, you will be responsible for steering budgets, schedules, and resources while bridging the gap between product teams, scrum teams, and external service providers. Key duties include requirements engineering, managing technical work packages, and ensuring compliance with governance and data protection standards. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Media Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; career changers with profound technical knowledge and several years of relevant experience are also considered.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in complex system and/or software development projects
- Proven experience in project leadership and personnel management
- Experience with digital educational platforms or learning management systems is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating external developers and service providers
- Extensive experience in planning and controlling technical work packages

- The position is initially fixed-term until December 31, 2028, with the aim of permanent employment thereafter. Applicants must be able to handle reporting to government clients and steering committees. Full-time and part-time options are available.
