As an Explosion Protection Inspector at Cerdia's Freiburg site, you will be responsible for ensuring the legally compliant and safe operation of chemical production facilities. Your daily activities involve conducting recurring technical explosion protection inspections, performing initial inspections before commissioning, and analyzing ignition sources on existing equipment. You will play a critical role in maintaining plant documentation and upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister), preferably in the field of Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field of explosion protection
  • Proven experience in measurement, control, and automation technology
  • Experience with PLC technology and general electrical engineering
  • Documented history of regularly updated training in explosion protection regulations
