Job Summary
The Goitzsche Klinikum, a modern medical center and teaching hospital with over 950 employees, is seeking a Head of Facility Management to lead its technical services department. In this role, you will be responsible for the organizational leadership of the technical team, including duty scheduling and daily task distribution. Your day-to-day activities will involve planning, coordinating, and monitoring repair and maintenance work performed by internal staff and external contractors. You will oversee the hospital's building management systems to ensure the cost-effective and fault-free operation of electrical, HVAC, fire alarm, and cooling systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for obtaining quotes for modernizations, preparing investment plans, and ensuring compliance with all legal and technical regulations. Required Skills
Education
Completed Engineering degree or Master Craftsman (Meister) certification in a facility management discipline or a comparable technical field.
Experience
- Several years of practical experience in leading technical departments, including organization, administration, and personnel management
- Professional experience and sound knowledge in technical trades such as electrical engineering, heating, ventilation, and sanitation
- Experience with legal regulations, standards, and technical rules related to maintenance, testing, and repair
- Experience in handling computer technology, specifically CAFM and building management systems
