Job Summary
As the Hospital Director for the Katharina Klinik, you will lead the independent operational and strategic management of a Level-1n primary care hospital and its associated medical centers. This role is critical during a significant transformation phase following the facility's transition to municipal ownership. On a daily basis, you will manage over 250 employees, ensuring high-quality patient care while overseeing budget planning, economic performance, and process optimization. You will work closely with the Medical Director and nursing management to foster a patient-oriented environment and maintain legal compliance. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the post-merger integration phase within a municipal hospital network. Required Skills
Education
University degree, preferably in Business Administration with a focus on Health Management, or a Medical degree with additional business training, or a comparable university qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in a hospital or clinical environment required
- Experience as a trainee in hospital management or similar introductory leadership roles is preferred
- Alternatively, extensive long-term relevant professional experience in healthcare leadership
- Experience in economic management and budget planning within a clinical setting
- Proven track record in structured, analytical, and solution-oriented work
