Job Summary

As the Deputy Plant Manager, you will take responsibility for operator duties and the safe operation of all non-GMP laboratory buildings within Chemical-Pharmaceutical Development in Wuppertal Elberfeld. Your daily routine involves planning and implementing chemical-technical modifications, structural measures, and compliance-ensuring activities. You will act as a key liaison between users, plant management, and engineers to ensure high plant availability and safety. This role is unique for its focus on sustainable infrastructure development, where you will drive innovative concepts for energy management and laboratory standardization. You will coordinate Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes and manage budgets for continuous improvement projects.
