As a Project Engineer for Hardware at Thales in Ulm, you will play a critical role in the technical design validation and electronic product performance of space communication components, specifically traveling wave tube amplifiers and electric satellite engines. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve acting as a central interface between international engineering teams, particularly with colleagues in France, to ensure high-performance standards in production. You will lead technical problem-solving processes, manage Engineering Change Requests (ECR), and oversee Non-Conformance Reports (NCR). Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in hardware engineering or a relevant technical field
- Experience in managing relationships and technical coordination with external suppliers and customers
- Experience in technical leadership and validation of engineering changes
- Experience in methodical problem analysis and structured troubleshooting
- Experience working in international engineering environments is preferred
