Job Summary

This role involves the independent commissioning of complex electromechanical, electronic, and optical systems within the protected vehicle construction sector for the defense and security industry. Based in Kassel, you will work within a collaborative team to ensure successful system integration by conducting extensive functional tests and system qualifications on highly complex military vehicles. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and analyzing faults in interconnected mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, evaluating measurement results, and documenting defects. The position offers a high degree of responsibility for safety-critical technologies and involves close cooperation with development departments and testing laboratories. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician with further qualification as a State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering or mechatronics, preferably in measurement and control technology.
  • Experience in measurement and testing technology as well as commissioning of complex systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in the independent organization and prioritization of testing procedures.
  • Experience in error analysis and evaluation of measurement data at both system and subsystem levels.
