Job Summary
This role involves the administration, maintenance, and continuous development of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as Teamcenter, Aras, or Oracle Agile. As a PLM Database Systems Specialist, you will ensure high system availability and performance optimization while analyzing and resolving faults within application and database environments. Your daily tasks will include database administration with a focus on Oracle, customizing system interfaces, and automating processes using scripting and programming languages. You will also play a key role in system rollouts, migrations, and updates, providing technical support to various departments. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science (Diplom-Informatiker) or a comparable, equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the administration of at least one PLM system (e.g., Teamcenter, Aras, CIM Database, or Oracle Agile)
- Proven experience in handling database systems, specifically Oracle
- Practical experience in programming and scripting for process automation
- Experience in troubleshooting application and database faults
- Experience working in interdisciplinary teams within an industrial environment
