Job Summary

This role at Jena University Hospital places you at the intersection of high-end medicine, research, and modern IT. You will be responsible for managing and administering interoperable data integration and transformation solutions, including the Clinical Data Repository (CDR). On a day-to-day basis, you will ensure system availability, analyze requirements, and implement new extensions. A significant portion of the role involves developing and maintaining ETL pipelines and creating REST interfaces to connect external systems. You will act as a vital bridge between technical IT and clinical departments, ensuring data quality and integrity while supporting users with technical issues. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or degree in Computer Science, Medical Technology, Medical Informatics, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the support and administration of database systems
  • Experience in the implementation of REST interfaces
  • Practical experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience in developing and maintaining ETL pipelines is advantageous
  • Professional experience within clinical data processes or the healthcare sector is desirable
