Job Summary

As a (Senior) Data Analyst in Naval Shipbuilding, you will play a critical role in supporting data-driven decisions for highly complex maritime systems with lifecycles exceeding 30 years. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve analyzing large volumes of operational, maintenance, and logistics data to optimize spare parts strategies, evaluate life cycle costs (LCC), and maximize fleet availability. Working at the intersection of engineering, logistics, and data science, you will build and refine simulation models using specialized tools like OPUS Suite. This position is unique because it offers the chance to influence long-term strategic programs in the defense sector, translating technical data into actionable insights that impact decades of maintenance and fleet readiness. You will collaborate closely with design and project teams to assess the impact of technical decisions across the entire system lifecycle.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in data analysis, simulation, or modeling of complex technical systems
  • Proven experience with lifecycle analysis, reliability engineering, or logistic simulation
  • Experience with data analysis tools or programming environments such as Python
  • Professional background in maritime systems, shipbuilding, or defense projects is highly desirable
  • Experience in maintenance strategy and system availability assessment
