Job Summary

As a Technical Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the development department throughout the entire lifecycle of training equipment and systems for both military and civilian applications. Your daily responsibilities will involve managing master data, including material masters and manufacturing bills of materials (BOMs), within PLM and SAP systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the formal correctness of development documents, processing change requests, and monitoring obsolescence reports. This role serves as a bridge between design and production, requiring high attention to detail to convert design BOMs into production-ready data. Required Skills

Education

Completed technician training in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering; or training as a Technical Product Designer or System Planner.

Experience

  • Professional experience in technical administration or a related engineering support role
  • Experience in handling master data, manufacturing BOMs, and software versions within PLM systems
  • Practical experience using SAP for data maintenance and article number assignment
  • Experience in checking and ensuring the formal correctness of technical development documents
  • Experience in processing change requests and obsolescence notifications
