Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in defining requirements for networked modular machine systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include selecting electrical components for power supply, control, and signal distribution while ensuring operator safety. You will manage data using SolidWorks Electrical and Siemens Teamcenter, oversee the production launch of new electrical assemblies, and consult on EMC testing and electrical safety standards like IEC/UL61010. This position is highly collaborative, requiring you to lead internal and external technicians and represent the Mechatronics department in cross-functional project teams across various business units. The role covers the entire development lifecycle from ideation to design control.
