Job Summary

As a Power Electronics Development Engineer for Drive Systems, you will be responsible for the design and optimization of power electronic components to enhance the efficiency and availability of marine drive systems. Your daily activities will involve analyzing electrical circuits, coordinating the development of inverter hardware and software, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges. You will play a pivotal role in steering both internal and external manufacturing networks, including suppliers, to ensure optimal technical solutions within budget. A key part of the role includes creating technical documentation for requirement management and participating in system tests and commissioning. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology with a focus on Power Electronics, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the development of electrical drive technology
  • Practical technical experience in an industrial environment, specifically through project work
  • Experience in managing internal and external development and manufacturing networks
  • Proven experience in coordinating product maintenance and development for inverters
