Job Summary
This role involves supporting the thermal-hydraulic planning of test facilities for an internationally leading manufacturer in the nuclear industry. Based in Erlangen, the successful candidate will focus on component testing, analyzing new plant concepts for efficiency, and performing plausibility assessments of engineering concepts. You will be responsible for modeling cycle processes and applying specialized experimental techniques to ensure the integrity and performance of nuclear components. This position is ideal for an engineer with a background in process or mechanical engineering who enjoys a mix of conceptual planning and hands-on testing. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering, Process Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in thermal hydraulics and associated experimental testing techniques
- Initial experience in the modeling of cycle processes
- Experience in the thermal-hydraulic planning of test facilities
- Experience in efficiency analysis and plausibility estimation for plant concepts
